Riscky's Steakhouse

We were travelling cross country and came in for a steak. The staff was all very pleasant and our server Elena did a wonderful job. She and the manager went above and beyond in customer service to be sure we were happy. Thank you for the terrific meal and experience!

The bone-in filet was exceptional! And the service from Shay made the experience even better.

Iam here @ Riskys Steakhouse and i ordered the lunch ribeye. I must say its always excellent!! The staff is still friendly. I observe alot of things and i always see the managers working with the employees. These people know what good customer is! Thank you Riskys Steakhouse.

Travelled all the way across this great country to have a New York strip steak here and it was fantastic! Well done folks, just not a well done steak. Service was absolutely fantastic couldn't have asked for more. Sweet tea was very good and just kept on coming. Well done Riscky's well done!

Pork chop was great. Did not care for the green beans. Grilled chicken breast and garlic mashed potatoes were good and like the fresh dinner rolls.

I accidentally left my purse here and a employee stole it. It was caught on surveillance per the manager. I sent a police officer over to get a copy so I could press charges on the employee and he was told by the manger the video was lost (their system deletes videos after a certain time period). At this point I could not press charges. I was told the owner would contact me to discuss the situation and I NEVER received a phone call from him. I called several times and left messages for him to return my phone calls. I was very disappointed in how this was handled.

My family came to visit me from Puerto Rico and one of our stops was the Stockyards. We went to this restaurant for lunch and it was amazing! The service was awesome and the food was incredible. The steaks were juicy and just perfect. My family was really happy with the food so thank you guys!

I’m a steak LOVER. Figured I’d splurge on a more expensive/“prime” steak since I don’t visit the DFW area very often. It wasn’t bad. Just ok. Good/friendly service, and the salad was good. But you don’t go to a steakhouse and pay $70+ per person for an OK steak and a good salad. Maybe they accidentally gave me one of the regular steaks? I’m sure the less expensive steaks will do you just fine if you decide to visit this establishment. Just not worth the splurge in my opinion.

Taken to our table 45 minutes ahead of our reservation. Server Don was extremely polite and helpful. The buffalo steak was the best steak we've ever eaten, as was the pecan pie. Calf Fries are a must-have. The drinks are also exceptional.

I regularly come by grabbing some food in this place. I like the fast service and well prepared food. 5 stars from me.

The food is very good. The fries are the fresh cut style fry. The waiter was helpful and paid good attention to our table.

First time eating here. Loved the atmosphere! Western and nostalgic. Very calming and inviting. The chicken fried steak was among the best I've ever had. Tender, tasty and the breading was perfect. Gravy nice and creamy. The salad cool and fresh. Loved it all! And desert was INCREDIBLE! Can't wait for my next visit here. That chopped steak topped w Burgundy mushrooms and onions is calling my name!!! Thanks for the awesome experience!!!

... yeah steak. Go there for steak nothing better or worse. Not for history. Pretty small. Just so you know, there are better steak places out there.

When we are in Dallas TX, we always stop here for lunch or dinner. Preferably lunch. They have a $10 steak for lunch that is awesome! Order it with the sauteed fresh green beans, they do a great job with veggies. We come for dinner with a party of six and we did not have to wait long. We ordered the calf fries appetizer and, after getting over the thought of what it is, it was not bad. Hubby would not touch it 🤣. There is a bar as you walk in and plenty of tables, even for large parties. We ordered the Stockyard Special, the Fillet, and New York strip. The steak for the stockyard special was tougher than what we have had in the past. The fillet and NY strip were both good. Fresh green beans was awesome as usual. Mashed potatoes was OK. Everything else was good.

Horrible! We waited 45 mins for food. Our waitress told us it was because a big party came in at the same time we did. I would think that a commercial kitchen could handle more than one order at a time. When we said that we were going to go, our food happen to show up. The manager told our waitress, Sunny, to comp our check and in front of us she said, "But they had alcohol drinks." What else would you comp? The lukewarm rolls that were complimentary? We paid and left. I would not suggest this place.

Best steak (and cheapest) I've ever had. It was like biting into a watermelon every bite. Excellent Kids menu. Great environment. Perfect food. We went in late afternoon. Their restrooms are a little run down and wait time for food was a little long. Oldest steak house in fort worth.

I was afraid this was going to be an overpriced tourist trap with cafeteria grade food.WRONG!!!Steaks were DELICIOUS!! Tender and grilled to perfection and every side dish was done well also. Very pleased with the quality and the prices were quite reasonable. We had family from out of state visiting the Stockyards and the Metroplex so we wound up eating here and enjoyed both the service and atmosphere.

Steaks were tender and tasty. Chicken fried steak was huge. Waiters need keep track of tables and quicker return to take orders

Delicious food and excellent service. The aged ribeye was so tender and flavorful, one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. We tried the calf fries, they were tasty and interesting. Definitely get here early for lunch, this place is popular for good reason!!

Talk about sweet!! Heather and Don were an absolute delight. Heather told us all about her own family's ties to ranching. She told us some history of the steakhouse and about a creek I had no idea that was flowing under it. Food and service were top notch. What a pleasant evening visiting with friends and family!

Went there for lunch. The lunch special was awesome. Great steaks, great sides, friendly service. Looking forward to going back.

While visiting for work I was taken to Riscky's and it did not disappoint. After going there I realized that (i'm from up north) the marketing of "fall off the bone ribs" was something I hadn't actually experienced. It was a lie. Now I understand what that means the ribs were amazing and the brisket fell apart it was so tender. Atmosphere was awesome too it was the best way to experience Texas I loved it.

One thing in our bucket list, being from CA, is to try Texas Steak! They ambience is awesome, staff are friendly. It's one of the places you could go to after a stroll at the Stock Yards.

Finest spot to have something when in a rush. Their customer service is speedy, pricing is affordable, fantastic ambience. Will come visit again

Was good. Steak was cooked according to them. Not how I ordered it. Green beans were great. Bread was not so good. No butter and was cold.

What a great place! The atmosphere, the decor, the hospitality, and yes definitely the food, all awesome! We celebrated our anniversary here and didn’t have a reservation. We just walked in and were seated! Rodeo Friday on Memorial Day weekend and we simply walked in off the street! The manager later when checking in on us asked how we found the place and it was simply location and Google Maps because of the Stockyards! Plus previous reviews and pictures on here!We both got the Top Sirloins. Steaks were absolutely amazing! Cooked perfect. I like mine medium rare and she likes hers medium to medium well. It was great! The whole experience was one of the best of our marriage!

Steak was great 👌 however the staff were awesome! The manager Gary and our waitress Shay made us feel welcome and we will definitely be back. We recommend this restraunt if you want good food, great service and great location.

Not a bad steak, lowest priced steakhouse in the stockyards, the sides are not great but passable for the price.

I took my Wife, two daughters, one Son-In-Law and six grandchildren here for dinner. The fried corn, fried cheese and fried broccoli were all very nice. The rib appetizer was very very dry and not good at all. We all ordered the bone in cowboy rib-eye. The steak was just eh, no flavor, very little marbling. We will not return.

One of the best steaks in my life! We even went there for the second time before our flight home. Our waiter Jeremiah made last dinner in TX perfect. Definitely we will come back.

This was our first time eating at Riscky’s Steakhouse and it won’t be the last. Everything was delicious, service was great and you aren’t breaking the bank like you do at other steakhouses. If you are ever in the area, I would definitely recommend eating here. You will not be disappointed.

This is one of the best eating experiences I have ever had...EVER!!! Everything from the crisp salad to the calf fries (calf testicles) and the loaded baked potato to the best, most delicious, perfectly cooked steak I have ever had, were all absolutely amazing!!! If ever in Fort Worth, make sure you visit this place. They will not let you down.

Riscky's has amazing food, kind service and a fitting atmosphere. While the food here is great, the prices are still seemingly a bit high. I highly recommend that you try their steaks.

Riscky's Steakhouse is on the street leading to the Stockyards. The filet, baked potato, and garlic mashed potatoes were very yummy. The lunch prices were very reasonable.

I thought Riscky's Steakhouse was an ok experience until I went back to question my bill. Charges for salads were erroneously included; over-priced drinks not part of kids meals, upcharges for extras not received. I discussed theses with the supervisor, Dulce, who redacted her name from our receipt, then added the trainee's name in place. Food quality: 6 (not fresh bacon on steak, and croutons on salad stale); Service: 4 (misinformation, no follow-ups); Drinks: 9 (mixed drinks pretty good); Overall: 6. What can they do better? Fresher food; trained staff; listen to the customer. I try to stay off the main drag for touristy food, but unavoidable this time.

The food quality here makes it a landmark. It was busy as it was a Saturday night but the staff did well to keep up the pace and while maintaining a great attitude, (I know I would've reminded some folks just how much power a server really has PRIOR to the food hits the table! winkwink). The food was paramount - I tried the Bison steak this time and it melted in my mouth!

Right across the street from the Fort Worth Stockyards. Rustic, stockyard atmosphere. Nice size bar right as you walk in. Lots of tables for short wait times. Ordered the chicken fried steak and it took up the entire plate. The largest chicken fried steak I have ever seen. Breading tasted home-made. Also got a house salad with in-house made croutons and garlic mashed potatoes. Nice size menu with lots of southern dishes including steaks, ribs, chicken fried steak and even fish with much more.

Great steak without the cowboy tie. Very quick service and everything they made us was amazing. The garlic mashed potatoes are a great decision for a side.

Best steak I've ever had. Cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable. Steak came with a baked potato and a salad, that were both delicious. Basket of bread for the table. Service was prompt and friendly.

They have a gluten free menu!! I felt safer ordering from thier gluten free menu. I am highly sensitive to wheat/gluten. The food was good,I had no reactions from gluten/wheat consuming or cross contamination (as in wheat/gluten touching in any physical way my food).Though I did feel like the portions were a bit small. Kid friendly. Has a kids menu. Great for a family sit down meal. (Take into account the time it takes for them to cook the food.)Parent tip- check out the kid's menu ahead of time and order thier food right away. Find an appetizer for the kids to snack on,it will keep them busy and thier stomachs from feeling too hungry while waiting.

Their 10oz $10 lunch special steak here taste better than $30-$40 dollar steak I had elsewhere. Even their side dishes were on point 👌 (we had garlic mashed potatoes and green beans). Their chicken fried steak was also very tasty. This restaurant has one of the highest quality per price ratio from all the restaurants I visited in my life.

Good food and good service. Couldnt ask for anything else. Obviously not cheap, but not overly expensive. Get the calf fries.

Absolutely incredible! First meal after landing in USA and the steak was amazing! Fast service, waitress was lovely and food was immaculate. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Seasonings are the best,I live in El Paso,my family has been picking these up for me for years!
